Number of years with SpecTec

I recently joined the team here at SpecTec Cruise and have enjoyed familiarising myself with this new industry. 

Can you provide a bit of background on your roles at SpecTec Cruise?

I am an Account Manager, working closely with all aspects of the business to best support customers in their requirements. Part of my responsibility is understanding the challenges or concerns my customers are facing as a business and on an individual basis and recommending solutions which leverage our technical consultants or technology to help address and overcome them. Another area of my responsibilities is to ensure that my customers are achieving the highest levels of asset management efficiency with the ultimate goal of producing high ROI on their assets. 

What do you get up to in a normal working day?

From the limited time I have been working in the cruise industry – there is no such thing as a normal day! Every day is truly different and unique.

What is your favourite thing about working at SpecTec Cruise (So far)?

The people. 

Having the best and most knowledgeable of the industry working around/with you is truly inspiring with the whole team actively contributing to the main objective. Asset Management Excellence!

What do you get up to in your spare time?

A lot of my free time nowadays is consumed by golf. 

What is, in your opinion, the most important trend in the cruise technology industry? 

The lack of skilled resources available to cruise organisations. Often, teams within cruise organisations are operating beyond their perceived capacity because of this problem, with a lot of their time dedicated to tasks which steal time away from the most important daily activities.

What is your favorite cruise ship?

I’m unable to answer this as I’ve never been on a cruise… The irony! Hopefully, soon, and I shall let you know.
